...and we were on the beach. My brother and I were playing cards while my parents were eating sand-filled sandwiches.

Suddenly, a ball bounced off my head into my mother's picnic basket and the ball was followed by a boy...John.

I didn't understand a word he said, but I think he said sorry.

A couple of hours later, my brother was playing football with him and I was stuck eating sand-filled sandwiches.

And that was the beginning of our life together!
